Edit, Delete, Copy or Rename a PassLink.
PassLinks are like Favorite's that automate your login at a website.
Most importantly, Passlinks are secure and can help you avoid
malware and trojans that can capture your login information. Plus, PassLinks
are
so
convenient you will wonder how you ever lived without them. In simple terms,
clicking on a PassLink will navigate you to the website login
page, then enter your user name, password and click the Login button.
To edit, delete, copy or rename a PassLink...
- Click the
Edit Passlink icon on the Mirrapass side-bar. If you have not already logged
in to Mirrapass, enter
your password to authorize the edit PassLink function.
- After you have logged in, the 'Edit PassLinks' window will be displayed as illustrated
below. Select the PassLink in the left section to display the details
of the PassLink.
You can then edit the user name or password values as required. With the PassLink
selected, you can also delete, copy or rename the PassLink by clicking the appropriate
icon.
For example, if you wanted to have two PassLinks to the same website with different
user names and passwords, you could copy and paste the PassLink, edit the user name
and password information as required, and then rename the PassLink by clicking 'File'
> 'Rename'.
Remember to save any changes you want to keep.
