Yes, Mirrapass can provide protection against malware and keyloggers capturing your
key-strokes when you login at
a website because Mirrapass automatically fills the
login form with you typing your information. Also, because Mirrapass remembers
your passwords, you can use strong, random and different passwords for each website.
Security is a key feature of Mirrapass. All of your personal information,
passwords and credit card details are automatically stored using 256-bit AES encryption,
the encryption standard used by governments and financial institutions. The
encryption key is generated by the password you created when you installed Mirrapass
and therefore is unique to you. The encrypted information is depicted in the
image below as it appears when stored by Mirrapass.
It is easy to create a website link (PassLink) to automate your login. Simply,
go to the website and login as normal and Mirrapass will prompt you to save the
PassLink. Once the PassLink has been saved, in future you can login automatically
to that website by clicking the PassLink in the Mirrapass side-bar or drop-down
list on the toolbar. For more information, please go to "Create
a PassLink".
Your PassLinks are not visible until you login to Mirrapass. Once you have
logged in, simply click the PassLink in the Mirrapass side-bar or from the drop-down
list on the toolbar. Mirrapass will then navigate to the website, enter your
user name and password, and click the Login button automatically. For more
information, please to to "Auto
Login to a Website".
Yes, Mirrapass includes a feature called "Secure Notes". The are just like
a sticky note except they automatically save the information you want using strong
256-bit AES Encryption. You can use Secure Notes to store any text information
you want to keep safe and secure, yet be able to access easily and quickly.
Secure Notes include a number of pre-set fields for user-names, passwords, account
numbers etc. and also a 'Notes' section where you can enter any text information
you want to save.
