Send an Encrypted Email
- Open the window to compose a message in Outlook 2003 or 2007.
- Select the Encryption type required from the drop-down list. The location
of the drop-down list may vary between Outlook versions, but Outlook 2003 and 2007
are shown below. In Outlook 2007, the Mirracrypt encryption options are available
from the Security ribbon on the Outlook compose message window.
Select the Encryption type and click "Send".
Click the Security ribbon to show the Mirracrypt encryption options.
- Compose the message and add any formatting, attachments or
images required. When you have finished, click the Outlook "Send" button.
If you have selected
to encrypt your
message using Mirracrypt Encryption, the encryption keys will be
automatically retrieved from the Mirrasoft key
server. If you have chosen
Password Encryption, you will be prompted for a password if you have not chosen
to automatically allocate a stored password for the relevant recipient.
