Add Mail Account settings for sending Armacrypt secure mail.
Using Armacrypt to send encrypted email requires an outgoing (SMTP) mail server. Many webmail services, such as Gmail, Hotmail and AOL provide access to their mail server for sending mail. If your webmail service does not provide SMTP access, you should be able to use the mail server included with your ISP's (Internet Service Provider) account.
The following instructions provide general information for configuring the outgoing mail server for Armacrypt - more specific information is available by clicking the links for the following webmail services.

Click the "Tools" menu item on the Armacrypt toolbar and select "Accounts for sending Email" from the drop-down list.

Click the "New" button to enter details for the new mail account.
- The "Account Description" field is local identifier for your mail account
to differentiate multiple accounts. The "Email Name" field is the name that
will appear as the Sender of outgoing emails. The "Email Address" field is
the reply address unless you enter a different address in the "Reply Address" field.
Enter the required information and click "Next" to add your mail server information.
- Enter the Mail Server information required. This information would usually be provided by your IT administrator or ISP (Internet Service Provider). Click "OK" to save your mail account settings unless you need to change any of the standard settings on the "Advanced" tab.
- The "Advanced" settings do not usually need to be changed unless your
mail server uses a secure SSL or TSL connection. (Gmail uses a secure SSL connection).
Selecting the checkbox for "Secure (SSL) connection..." will change the port number
automatically to the standard port used for connecting to SSL mail servers.
Click "OK" or "Apply" to save you mail account settings.
- Your account settings have now been saved. Click "Close" to return to the main program, click "New" to add another mail account, or click "Edit" to modify the selected account.
